A tri-racial only child of a single mother, I lived in fantasy worlds making X-Men movies in my head and Charlie's Angels sequels with Barbie stand-ins.
Two degrees and lots of life later, I'm still perpetually inspired by the power of dramatic stories to convey meaningful ideas. Life is messy. This is how I make sense of it all.
